Master Of Computer Applications (MCA) Lateral Entry – Course Profile

Objective

The Master of Computer Applications (MCA) Lateral Entry programme aims at preparing Information Technology experts who could successfully extend their valuable contribution in streamlining the decision-making process and innovation in the areas of Computer Applications.

Status

Approved by AICTE, Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India. & Affiliated to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (APJAKTU) formerly (UPTU), Lucknow .

Duration

Two Years (Four Semesters) Full-Time program.

Eligibility

The programme is designed for those who have completed their Recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years duration in BCA, B. Sc (IT/Computer Science) with Mathematics as a subject at 10+2 level or at Graduate Level. The candidates should have obtained at least 50% (or 45% in case of SC/ST Category) marks in the qualifying Examination.
