Orientation Program for M.Com First Batch held at SMS Varanasi

Orientation Program for first batch of Master of Commerce (M.Com) Course held at School of Management Sciences, Varanasi on 14th August, 2014. Recently Course was approved by Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith University. Orientation took place in presence of Prof. P.N. Jha, Director, SMS Varanasi; Registrar Sri Sanjay Gupta and Senior Faculty Members. On the occasion Prof. Jha congratulated the students for selecting M.Com course and assured them best possible opportunities in coming days. He informed the students about various available facilities at institute campus and motivated them to use the facilities to the optimum level for their best possible learning and development.

Prof. Sandeep Singh, Head Management & Commerce also pointed that M.Com is a contemporary course as per changing business and commerce related environment. Prof. Raj Kumar Singh, Dean R&D, in his deliberation guided the students about various possible avenues after completion of M.Com and motivated them to work hard for successful career. Prof. Arun Kumar Singh also motivated the students and congratulated them for selecting M.Com course at SMS Varanasi. Dr. Amit Kishore Sinha, Coordinator-M.Com course presented details of course and discussed significant similarities between M.Com and other management courses. Dr. Pallavi Pathak, Associate Professor, coordinated the inaugural session.

In next session of the orientation program Sri Veeresh Tripathi, Assistant Professor, presented details about faculty members at institute. Dr. Anupam Shukla, Associate Professor discussed about library resources at SMS Varanasi. Sri Ram Gopal Gupta, Associate Professor, provided insights of IT-Infrastructure at institute. At last Sri Rishi Raman Singh, Associate Professor, discussed about discipline and code of conduct of students at SMS Varanasi.

On this occasion, Executive secretary Dr. M. P. Singh, Registrar Sri Sanjay Gupta and faculty members of the concerned department were present.
