Sales and its tactics!

Sales in simple terms, is a field where you sell goods and services to the customer. Whether it is the physical product for example, a ball, glass, bat, table, chair, pen, etc. or something else, you sell to the customer in return of money. Sales is an important component when it comes to business. And is basically worked upon profit maximization. A seller has always a mind-set, about how much revenue he or she will get over a particular product. Sales is a wide game in the World of Business, and you have to take care about a lot of things to stay in business. In the present era, there are numerous ways through which one can sell his or her goods for example, internet, shops, advertising, etc. There are various strategies to increase the sales of a business, but that’s not the topic here. Let me describe what sale actually is: 1. Patience: Selling is a game where patience plays a major role, as the buyer tries to crack you down to a certain amount where he or she could easily afford which is also known as negotiation. There are many ways a buyer tries to negotiate, for example- by directly asking for discounts, by coming everyday but not purchasing the product so that the seller himself or herself gives up, etc. So when it comes to selling of a product, one has to be patience and play the game where the business would achieve profit maximization and not loss. Because a buyer can switch seller but a seller cannot switch buyer, because he or she has to run his or her business, if he or she keeps on switching its buyers, the business will go down and nothing good will come out of it. So sales is a like patient wolf, if the buyer is smart, you have to become double smart, you have to remain patient. There are many times, when the business is not earning any profit but that doesn’t mean you will give up on it, everything takes time, even you took 22-23 years to come at this age! So you have to become a patient wolf, as the right time comes, you have to seal the deal or else the buyer can switch his or her place too. 2. The perfect knowledge: When a buyer has settled his or her mind over a particular product, he or she gains more knowledge of the product than the salesperson, for example, our grandmothers are well aware of the rates of vegetables, so they know how to seal the deal and bargain like a pro! Plus these days internet has every kind of information, if you are thinking of buying a laptop, you immediately google it so when you are selling a product you have to make sure you have the appropriate knowledge of the product and things set up in mind so that you could counter strike if a buyer starts creating a hustle. You should have more accurate information than the buyer, because though the person has checked and analysed everything from google but if you describe the same in a mesmerizing way, maybe it could seal the deal for you. 3. The sweet talk: When you are selling a good you face many types of people, and at times they go all mad but the thing is you cannot because if you did, then they can switch the seller but you can’t find another buyer so easily. So you have to make sure you are talking in a decent way, and are not making uncomfortable to anyone at all. You have to maintain a proper customer- seller relationship with the buyer, and have to talk in a manner so that they feel comfortable. There is one more strategy in sales, it is when you act like a close friend to a customer and start suggesting them things about the product though in your mind its just a strategy to make a move so that the buyer would buy your product. 4. Trust: When you are in sales you have to make sure of one thing, and that is, to never lie, because once the trust of the customer is broken he or she will never show up on your door step again. So you have to be accurate with the information you are providing to your customers. In the end there are many sales tactics which one can use to generate profit, it’s all about actually using them correctly.
