When you complete your 12th standard, you are all excited to join a college, but you should take few precautions for while choosing a college, so here are the 10 important points to consider while choosing a college: Place: When you are choosing a college in which you could best fit in, the first thing that pops up is the location. Though for some, even if that is far, it doesn’t matter, but on the other side for some people changing their place or moving out from their home town is something of a big deal or not allowed. So firstly make sure for whether you can switch location or not, if so then start the investigation accordingly or else start doing the same in your area. Location is an important key  factor to consider while choosing a college, as a time comes when you understand the importance of it, for example, what if you want to order food in the middle of the night, does your surroundings have such food enterprises who could deliver food at that time? There are various other scenario like this one, so the location plays a key role. Name-Fame: When someone is choosing a college, he or she makes sure to be in such an institute which has a name, which is popular, for example, there are many colleges out there, where when you hear the name of them, then the person starts praising you, like wow you are from that college, that’s really awesome. And no matter what, but everybody thinks of this point at least once while choosing a college.                      Fee structure: At the end its all about the money. So fees structure is also considered as a very important point while choosing of a college. Fee structure is important as not everyone can afford high tutions, sure there are scholarships but not everyone can crack them, right? So while choosing a college, one should look after the budget and choose the college as per, so that he or she is or he or she’s family is not disturbed.       Course: If you have already thought of the course you want your career to be in, then make sure to look after to only those colleges which provide the course you are interested in. And if you haven’t decided yet, then before choosing a college, you should decide for what course you should opt for or in which course you will est fit in. Because there is no perspective in finding a college if you are not even aware of the course you want to study there. Placement Cell: This is an important key point which pops into your head while choosing a college. Why is everyone chasing the education? What is the reason behind studying, and going to play school, then school, then college or university, then post graduation courses, why? To get a job, to get well settled in life, to have economical stability, and to enjoy there lives, so one should consider placement an important point while choosing a college. You should know for which companies come and go, is there 100% placement or etc.. cause at the end you are looking forward for a placement only or exception opening up your own enterprise.                                                                    Campus atmosphere: once you have targeted a particular college, make sure you fit into its campus atmosphere, try to ask few questions, ask some random questions, try out to gain some knowledge for whether the particular college suits you well or you should keep looking. Internships and trainings: While giving an interview, the company is looking forward to hire someone, who can give his or her exceptional and mind-blowing results to the company, someone who has at least a little knowledge or work experience in that particular filed, which is why, when you are choosing a college, you should consider internships and trainings for once. You should make sure that the college you have chosen, provides training or internships at the right time and at the right place. But the question is how will you gather such information, because for obvious, every college flaunts about themselves, so basically you can pursue seniors, or some of your friends who are in that college or any of their friends’ or siblings’. Then you can know a lot more about the college than the random. Extra curricular activities: Every college provides extra curriculum activities, some provide something amazing and while some provide something dull. So make sure to analyse the fact of co curriculum activities in the college you are thinking of heading on. Because extra curriculum activities gives a nice shape your resume, it gives you a skill and makes you look good. So make sure to consider it as an exclusive point while choosing a college. Facilities: When you get in a college, if its far away from home and you have chosen hostel life to go then you must check the environment of hostel too, the facilities provided by the college, and not just that, you should also know the rules and regulations that have been implemented in the college and hostel life. So that you don’t get yourself in the wrong shoe. Vibe: Last but not the least, the college that have finally chosen or selected for yourself, should give you a welcoming vibe. What if you got all the above points but all you got is negative vibe in the college, then that would be a problem for you. While choosing a college, when you enter it make sure it doesn’t gives you a dull ambiance or a vibe that would make you hate your college life before even joining it. of course you are going to spend the next 3-4 years in that college, so make sure you get the right vibe from the college you chose so that you could stick with it. Choosing a college is not that big of a hurdle, if your perspective is clear.
