    Commerce is a popular stream among Higher Secondary (10+2) students all over India. Students studied Commerce in Class 11th-12th have chosen multiple courses at graduation level with lots of career option. One of the major benefits of Commerce students over Arts students is that they are equally eligible for both Commerce and Arts courses. There is various Selection of courses after 12th for Commerce students, be it academic or vocational.

    Another main point to consider is that for Commerce students, while Accountancy that Business Studies and Economics are core subjects, and Mathematics is optional for them. Thus, the Commerce stream can be divided into two groups: Commerce with Math and without Math. However, courses after 12th for both these categories are almost the same. Students who opt for Commerce without Math have to put in extra effort in the chosen subject in their Under Graduation degree.

    1. BBA/BMS

    Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)/ Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) is a degree to do a Master in Business Management (MBA). BBA/BMS is the undergraduate degree undertaken to enhance a career in Business Management. Any student who has completed Class 12th in any stream with at least 50% aggregate marks from a reputed board or university can opt BBA/BMS.

     

    1. BCA in IT/Software

    BCA is also an undergraduate degree course that is comprised of a study of different computer languages. This degree is considered to be similar to a B. Tech program in Computer Science or Information Technology. The candidates who want to opt this program are specialized in the fields related to computer applications which are the following:

    1. Chartered Accountancy (CA)

    Chartered Accountancy or CA is a program for Commerce students who want to become Chartered Accountants. To opt CA in India, the candidate needs to register with The reputed Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). Any student in India, eligible for CA, who has completed Class 12th or equivalent with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognized board or university can pursue CA Program easily.

     

    1. Company Secretary (CS)

    Company Secretary or CS is a program for Commerce students after Class 12th who want to become Company Secretary. Any candidate who has passed Class 12th or equivalent with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognized board or university can opt CS course. To pursue the course and take over the CS degree the candidate has to register as an authentic member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) respectively.

     

    1. BA in Humanities & Social Sciences

    BA is an under graduation degree in subjects related to social sciences,  fine arts and liberal arts. BA is a bachelor’s degree, for those have completed their 10+2 from Arts background for this course. Besides that, even Science and Commerce students are also eligible to pursue a BA degree.

     

    1. BA in Arts (Fine/Visual/Performing)

    BA in Arts is the bachelor’s degree undertaken by those students who want to opt Fine Arts and Performing Arts. BA in Arts is an official undergraduate degree, for those students who have completed their 10+2 HSC from Arts stream for this course. Apart from that, even Science and Commerce students are eligible to take a BA in Arts degree if they interested.

     

    1. BDes (in Design)

    Bachelor of Design in Animation is an undergraduate degree which is usually of the domain of arts but can be also opted by science as well as commerce students.  The student who wants to become an animator pursue this program.

     

    1. BSc in Hospitality & Travel

    Bachelors of Science in Hospitality & Travel is mainly known as BSc in Hospitality & Travel is an undergraduate degree course in Hospitality. To opt this course, the candidate must have completed 10+2 or any other equivalent qualification from any stream like science, arts, and commerce.

     

    1. Bachelor of Journalism & Mass Communication (BJMC)

    BJMC (Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication) is a three-year undergraduate level degree program. To opt this course candidate need to complete Class 12th in any stream. The course is suitable for those students to want to build their careers in the media industry.

     

    1. BHM in Hospitality & Travel

    Bachelor of Hotel Management in Hospitality & Travel is commonly known as BHM in Hospitality & Travel. This is an undergraduate level degree course,  which is pursued by a student who has cleared 10+2 HSC from Science, Commerce or Arts streams.

     

    1. Bachelor of Mass Media (BMM)

    BMM (Bachelor of Mass Media) is an undergraduate degree of  Mass Communication program with three years time duration. Students interested to build their careers in Mass Communication & Media industry can eligible for this course after they complete their Class 12th.

     

    1. Bachelor of Journalism (BJ)

    BJ (Bachelor of Journalism) is an undergraduate Mass Communication & Media program of a minimum three years duration.
