Centre for Spiritual & Human Enrichment organized yoga session for Faculty and Students of institute on Activity day, Jan 31, 2019. The session was taken by Dr. Amit Kishore Sinha, Associate Professor, SMS Varanasi.
In this session Dr. Sinha shared his valuable experiences and importance of yoga in day-to-day life, he also motivated the participants to practice yoga as a part of their daily routine. He demonstrated all important yoga steps which were also practiced by the participants. Yoga session started with body rotation and warm-up exercises followed by yoga poses and pranayama steps. Lastly meditation was experienced by the participants. Besides traditional yoga poses and pranayama Dr. Sinha also discussed about the importance of diet and do’s and don’ts for a good yoga practitioner.
