Mr Navin C. Mishra of Gartner Research visited SMS Varanasi
Mr. Naveen C. Mishra , Research Director, Gartner Research & Advisory visited SMS Varanasi campus on September 18, 2013 and interacted with Management students. During his visit Mr. Mishra conducted a workshop on Preparing for Career in Market Research & Consultancy with MBA Ist Semester students of SMS, Varanasi. He started off with elaborate description and working of Market Research & Consulting Companies along with different types of jobs available in such organizations. Next, he provided a deep insight into the skill set required to build a career in Market Research & Consulting organizations. Mr Mishra also gave practical tips to students as how they can acquire the required skill set to fullfill the expectations of their future employers. This Session is coordinated by Mr. Amitabh Pandey, Reader at SMS Varanasi. Faculty and staff memebrs incuding Dean-Management Sciences Dr. Sanjay Saxena participated in the program. On 17th Sep, 2013 Shri Shyam Shekhawat, AGM , Greenply Industries Ltd. and Shri Ranjit Singh, BDM, Greenply Industries Ltd. also visited SMS, Varanasi campus. During their visit they interacted with PGDM III Semester students of SMS, Varanasi and provided them inputs towards preparation for their placements.
