Guest lecture on Cloud Computing for MCA Students
15th September, 2012 witnessed the presence of Mr. Nitesh Kumar, Project Manager, IBM India Pvt. Ltd. in the lush green and adorable campus of SMS Varanasi. Mr. Nitesh interacted with MCA students and discussed about the topic of Cloud Computing. He has discussed about bridging the gap of knowledge and experience between academic and corporate fields. He has explained the cloud as a symbol in relation with usage of internet on various sites. He has said, Cloud Computing is a style of computing which must cater to the following computing needs: Dynamism, Abstraction and Resource Sharing. Further he has talked about the problem of server clashes during online operations. He has emphasized on the need of management in this segment of internet processes. Moreover he has discussed about the challenges in cloud computing likewise customized needs of the businesses/ communities and society at large. Start-up of the Guest Lecture took place with lightning of lamp and garlanding the Idol of goddess Saraswati by the guest, followed by welcoming the guest by Prof. P. N. Jha, Director, SMS Varanasi and Program Theme Presentation by Mr. K. S. Mishra, Associate Professor, SMS Varanasi. Mr. Abhishek Srivastava, Senior Lecturer, SMS Varanasi coordinated the program.
