SMS, Varanasi Faculty Member Presented Paper in Shanghai, China
Anindo Bhattacharjee, a Lecturer at School of Management Sciences Varanasi presented a paper on “Sustainable Management Practices through Ancient Indian Wisdom” was jointly authored by Prof. Sandeep Singh, Coordinator, Centre for Spiritualism & Human Enrichment at the School of Management Sciences, Varanasi, at the Wise Management Conference 2012 held at the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) in Shanghai China.
The conference was organized by The Euro-China Centre for Leadership and Responsibility (ECCLAR) of the China Europe International Business School (among the top-25 B-schools in the World). The theme of the conference was “Wise Management in Organizational Complexity” from 23rd – 24th May 2012. The conference advisory board which consisted of Prof. Henri Claude de Bettignes (INSEAD), Prof. David Bevan (EABIS/CEIBS) and Prof. Bernard McKenna (UQ Business School), selected 36 papers for presentation from across the globe. Paper presenters included world renowned names like Prof. Jonathan Gosling from University of Exeter (UK), Thomas Maak from ESADE Barcelona, Mary Gentile from Babson College, Robert Chia from University of Strathclyde, Prof. Ip Po Keung from National Central University, Taiwan and many more.
Anindo Bhattacharjee was the only person who was selected from India for the paper presentation in this conference.
Further, he also represented SMS at the Wise Business Forum on 25th May 2012 where he was part of a roundtable discussion with 12 CEOs and MDs of renowned organizations from Europe, Australia, China and Singapore, doing business in Asia.
