Inaugration of National Conference on Management of Innovation
The leading Institute in Management Education, School of Management Sciences (SMS), Varanasi witnessed a high profile congregation of elite thinkers and academicians in its high profile two day National Conference on Management of Innovation in Business and Technology- New Strides in Khushipur Campus. This two-day Conference was inaugurated by theChief Guest, Honorable Vice Chancellor of Mahamaya Technical University, Prof. S. K. Kakon Saturday, 19th of February 2011 at 10:30 am in the Conference Hall of the SMS Campus. On this pious occasion,Mr. Dilip Pithadia, Chairman, Pithadia Foundation, Detroit, USA, Prof. Claude Besner, University of Quebec, Canada and Prof. Pravash Kumar Mishra, Head, Department of Psychology, Utkal University, Orrisa, were the Guest of Honours. Inaugurating the Conference, Chief Guest, Honorable Vice Chancellor of Mahamaya Technical University, Prof. S. K. Kak said upon importance of innovation and need of related management practices. The Guest of Honour, Mr. Dilip Pithadia, Chairman, Pithadia Foundation, Detroit, USA said upon the up-gradations in the field of technology. Further speaking in the inaugural session Prof. Claude Besner, University of Quebec, Canada clarified the application segment of innovative practices. Addressing the inaugural session Prof. Pravash Kumar Mishra, Head, Department of Psychology, Utkal University, Orrisa, opined the deep rooted concepts of management and significance of innovation in Information Technology segment.
