BA (Hons) Mass Communication-I&III & B.Com (Hons)-I Students Visit to Dainik Jagran
SMS Varanasi organized an enlightening Industrial Visit for our BA (Hons) Mass Communication- I & III Semester students and B.Com(Hons)- I Semester Students. This exceptional experience was made possible under the expert guidance of Dr. Ishan Tripathi, Coordinator of the Mass Communication program, and Dr. Vir Pratap, Coordinator of the B.Com(Hons) program.
Our enthusiastic students had the privilege to step into the dynamic world of journalism at the Dainik Jagran Newspaper office located in the heart of Varanasi at Nadesar.
During this immersive visit, our students delved into the intricate processes behind newspaper production, gaining insights into the publication, printing, and circulation procedures. They also had the chance to explore the News Editing and Printing Department, witnessing firsthand the meticulous craftsmanship that goes into every edition.
Special Guests:Our students were honored to meet and interact with esteemed personalities from Dainik Jagran. Mr. Pramod Yadav, the City Chief, and Senior Correspondent Mr. Ajay Singh graced the occasion with their presence, sharing their wealth of knowledge and experience.
Engaging Q&A Session:A stimulating Q&A session was held in the conference room of Dainik Jagran Office, providing a platform for our students to delve deeper into the intricacies of news collection, publication policies, and the delicate balance between news and advertisements. Mr. Ajay Singh, with his vast experience, provided insightful answers, leaving our students with a deeper understanding of the journalistic world.
