PGDM and MBA 2018 Orientation Program at SMS Varanasi
Citing the example of thai cave rescue incident A.K. Singh, CEO, Reliance Power (Shashan Waidhan) welcomed & motivated in his inaugural address of the orientation Programme for 24th batch of PGDM Programme & 6th batch of MBA Programme of School of Management Sciences, Varanasi at their Campus. He added that it is impossible that one knows everything but whatever one knows or do please ensure excellence in that. He further gave tips to become professional by having learning attitude, developing excellent communication skill, learn leadership skill and do everything with passion.
Guest of Honor Mr. Shubhmay Chatterjee, Vice President HR Bajaj Corp Ltd. Reminded student about expectation of the corporate world further he urged students to work on their strengths & understand weakness and involved in creation & innovative activities.
Later President of inaugural session Prof. Gulshan Sachdeva Professor & Director of Europe Area Study Programme at JNU, New Delhi gave five Success Mantra which are Hard-Work, Time -Management, Network Development, Defy aggressive attitude & develop relaxed mental capability.
Earlier, welcoming the Guests on this grand occasion, the Director of SMS Varanasi, Prof. P. N. Jha said that it happens to be a landmark day in the history of SMS as students have come to the inflection point by taking admission in the two prestigious courses of the Institute. He said, SMS is a globally sensitive B-School as it has already initiated Values and ethics education in its courses ever since launch. SMS would leave no stone unturned to provide compatible skills to its students, he commented. He highlighted that the quality placement of SMS Varanasi are indicator of quality teaching and learning atmosphere of the institute. Later Dr. Avinash Chandra Supkar presented the Preamble of SMS while Prof. Sandeep Singh brought forward the importance of B-School education.
Vote of Thanks was proposed by Dr. R.K. Singh. Dr. Pallavi Pathak coordinated the inaugural session. On this occasion, Executive secretary Dr, M.
