HR Conclave on the theme “Assured Entry through Institute–Industry Joint Initiatives”
School of Management Sciences (SMS) Varanasi turned its Seminar Hall into a hub of ideas, insights, and industry wisdom during the much-awaited HR Conclave on the theme “Assured Entry through Institute–Industry Joint Initiatives”.
The Panelists Spoke, Students Absorbed, and New Horizons Opened:
Mr. Shaleen Manik (CHRO, Transsion India, New Delhi) reminded students that while AI & Data Analytics are changing HR, empathy will forever remain irreplaceable.
Mr. Girish V (Head Business HR, Exide Industries Ltd., Kolkata) stressed that degrees don’t impress, applications do—real learning comes from solving problems, leading teams, and staying calm under pressure.
Ms. Ruchi Chilana Gera (Group Head HR & Admin, Gateway Distriparks Ltd., New Delhi) highlighted that diversity is strength and true leadership begins when we take responsibility, not authority.
Mr. Kadainti Karthikeya Kumar (Head HR, Focus Softnet, Hyderabad) painted a global canvas, saying that from Varanasi to Silicon Valley, opportunities await those fluent in adaptability, communication, and digital literacy.
The interactive Q&A session turned the conclave into a two-way street, where students asked bold questions and industry leaders answered with candor. From “How to crack interviews?” to “What future skills matter most?”—the dialogue was as enlightening as it was practical.
Welcoming the gathering, Prof. P.N. Jha, Director, SMS Varanasi, beautifully put it: “HR Conclave is not just about jobs; its about shaping careers and lives.”
With Prof. Avinash Chandra Supkar and Prof. Amitabh Pandey moderating, and Prof. Sandeep Singh delivering the vote of thanks, the conclave ended on a high note of inspiration, leaving students motivated to dream bigger and act bolder.
Presence of Executive Secretary Dr. M.P. Singh, Registrar Sanjay Gupta, faculty members and students added grace and energy to the occasion.
