INDUSTRIAL CUM EXCURSION TRIP( BBA VI Semester)
BBA Programme of School of Management Sciences, Varanasi organized an Industrial and Excursion tour for enhancing practical knowledge of students and for giving them a refreshing break. A group of 17 students of BBA final year 2019-2022 batch went on an Industrial and Excursion trip to Chandigarh, Kullu, Manali and New Delhi along with Dr. Sofia Khan & Dr. Chandra Shekhar Singh (BBA Course Co-cordinators) from 12nd April, 2022 to 18th April, 2022.
Students visted Microturners company for Industrial visit at Chandigarh. There the students visited the manufacturing department, Production department and Packaging department. After industrial visit students went for local sightseeing of Chandigarh like Rock Garden, Gurudwara and Shastri market Sector-22.
Next day then the students reached at Manali and after a rest they went for local sightseeing like Hidimba Temple, Tibetan Monastery and Mall road. Next Morning students started their journey towards Solang valley via Atal Tunnel (also known as Rohtang Tunnel), At a length of 9.02 km, it is the longest highway single-tube tunnel above 10,000 feet (3,048 m) in the world. Solang Valley lies between Solang village and Beas Kund, Located at a distance of 13 kms from Manali,. It offers beautiful view of glaciers and snowcapped mountains. All the students enjoyed the alluring view of valley and by evening DJ party and bonfire were also arranged for them at Manali. The next destinations of the trip were Kullu District of Himachal Pradesh, where students performed adventurous activities like paragliding and river rafting. After completion of this adventurous trip they reached last destination of trip i.e. New Delhi. There students visited local Sarojini market for shopping.
Through this tour, students learned about the culture of Kullu-Manali and how one can preserve the natural beauty in an efficient manner. This excursion also helped the students to realize how to strike a perfect balance between studies and other activities which increases the holistic development.
