SMS Varanasi organized its Tenth Annual Alumni meet of Delhi Chapter of SMS Alumni Association on December 16, 2023 & Nostalgia filled the air at the alumni meet held at the Shriram Hall of PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, New Delhi.
The Meet was attended by more than 50 Alumnus and Alumna of different courses and batches of SMS Varanasi. The meet aimed to provide a platform for alumni to reconnect with each other, network, and engage in fun-filled activities while challenging themselves and cheering their peers.
Our alumni have established themselves as successful individuals in almost all fields of their lives & we could not be any prouder.
Meeting got started with the welcome address of Mr.Rohit Mehta, Coordinator of SMS Alumni Association. The other members who coordinated the event were Mr. Shambhu Sharan Srivastava, Associate Professor & Mrs Bhawna Dixit, DGM Training & Placements.
The program proceeded with the recent developments at SMS Varanasi and presentation of agenda of the Alumni meet by Mr.Rohit Mehta. Alumni in their acceptance speeches, expressed their gratitude to the college and their happiness that SMS College has upheld the benchmark it set in the field of education.
As per agenda, alumni members gave their introduction and shared their on the job experiences as well as learnings. Alumni also gave suggestions that several activities and courses should be inculcated in curriculum, which should ensure that student should not only be well versed in MSOffice, Research tools, analytics etc but also they should be well groomed with emotional intelligence, interpersonal skills and communication skills, which are the dire need of today’s corporate environment.
A group photo was taken to commemorate the day’s events. As the evening drew to a close, the alumni bid each other farewell, promising to recreate this day again soon. They left feeling rejuvenated and refreshed, having enjoyed a delightful day spent in the company of good friends.
To conclude the day, the Alumni Association Committee thanked everyone for making it to the event and requested them to join all future events with the same gusto and involvement. Participants took dinner at the end of the event & were presented a Planer as token of remembrance.
