BBA Orientation Programme 2025@ SMS Varanasi
The Orientation Program of the new BBA batch at SMS Varanasi commenced with vibrant energy, curious minds, and dreams waiting to take flight. The atmosphere brimmed with motivation as eminent speakers ignited young hearts with wisdom and guidance.
Prof. P. N. Jha, Director, SMS Varanasi, welcomed the students and said that students are the true flag bearers of any institution. In today rapidly changing world, knowledge alone is not enough—you need advanced skills and adaptability. He appealed that SMS hi-tech and resourceful library is a treasure for you while the internet may give you speed, books give you depth. There is no substitute for cultivating the habit of serious reading.
Chief Guest, Prof. S. K. Singh, Former Vice Chancellor, L. N. Mithila University, Darbhanga, emphasized the values of holistic education. He remarked that management education is not just about mastering theories it is about nurturing character, vision, and resilience. Indias corporate and entrepreneurial landscape demands leaders who can balance ethics with efficiency. Prof. Singh urged students to look at their three years not as a course, but as a journey where you will learn to convert challenges into opportunities. SMS Varanasi provides the perfect ecosystem—make the most of it.
Guest of Honour, Mr. Vipul Jain, Managing Director, My Irigacio World Pvt. Ltd., Ghaziabad, shared his entrepreneurial insights with the young learners. He said that every business idea, no matter how small, has the potential to change lives if it is driven with passion and persistence. Recalling his journey, Mr. Jain said that he started his venture with countless doubts and obstacles, but conviction and innovation became his guiding force. He appealed to students, don’t just aim for jobs—aim to be job creators. The world needs problem-solvers, and I see many of them sitting right here.
Along with this, the Preamble of SMS Varanasi was eloquently presented by Mr. Veeresh Tripathi, while Prof. Sandeep Singh, HoD, Department of Management & Mass Communication, unfolded the structured framework of the BBA course to the freshers. The program was beautifully coordinated by Dr. Sofia Khan, and the session concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks by Dr. Rohit Mehta, Coordinator, BBA Program.
On this occasion Executive Secretary Dr M. P. Singh, Registrar Mr. Sanjay Gupta, Dr. Khushboo Kumar, Dr. Utkarsh Keshari, Co-Coordinators-BBA Program alongside faculties graced the session.
