The 12th National Conclave on 5S commenced today at School of Management Sciences (SMS), Varanasi, jointly organized by QCFI Varanasi Chapter and SMS Varanasi. The two-day conclave is centered around the theme: "5S Beyond Housekeeping: A Culture of Discipline for Sustainable Growth to World-Class Practices."
The Valedictory session was graced by Prof. Ajit Kumar Chaturvedi, Hon'ble Vice Chancellor, Banaras Hindu University, as the Chief Guest. Welcoming the dignitaries, Director SMS Varanasi, Prof. P. N. Jha, emphasized that 5S is not merely a workplace management tool but a mindset that nurtures discipline, efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement across all spheres of life.
Addressing the gathering, Prof. Chaturvedi highlighted that institutions and industries aspiring for global excellence must cultivate a culture of systematic thinking, self-discipline, and collective responsibility.
