Delegates of Limkokwing University, Malaysia visited SMS Varanasi
India is rushing headlong toward economic success and modernization, counting on high-tech industries such as information technology, fashion and other allied field to propel the nation to prosperity. As to enhance the prospect in this regard Varanasi as a location has very significant role in terms of its Market viability and visibility in the Global front. To move in this direction School of Management Sciences moved ahead to explore the possibilities to collaborate with Limkokwing University, Malaysia.
To facilitate this School of Management Sciences hosted Delegates from Limkokwing University on 13th April, 2016. Delegation was headed by Ms. Shayami Yatawara (Head International Development) from the side of Limkokwing University, while on the other hand from School of Management Sciences the team was headed by Prof. P. N. Jha (Director, SMS Varanasi). Notable contributor in the meeting were Er. Amitabh (Chairman EUPEA), Mr. Sanjay Gupta (Registrar) Prof. Sandeep Singh(Dean Student Welfare), Prof. Alok Kumar (Dean Research and Development), Prof. Raj Kumar Singh (Chairperson CEISD) Mr. K. K. Bajpayee (Associate Professor) Mr. Kartikeya Singh (Head of International Relations).
During interaction Members focused on various possibilities for collaboration including aspects like Student Exchange Programme, Industrial cum Excursion International Tour, Opening of plethora of opportunity to incorporate short term programme in the form of training, and Incorporation of Selected Courses on retail, branding and packaging, Entrepreneurship, Fashion and allied subjects along with faculty exchange programme.
Delegates requested the faculty members of SMS, Varanasi to form a cohesive group for mutual benefit and invited in different academic events at their University Campus in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
