Dr.Balram Singh, Consultant, and MD-SMIPL interacted with SMS Varanasi students
As a part of Guest Lecture Series Dr.Balram Singh (Consultant & MD-SMIPL) formerly with ISPAT Group visited SMS, Varanasi on 10th February 2016 to interact with MBA 2nd Semester Students. During his deliberation on “Changing Business Environment and Economic Scenario” he discussed various emerging challenges for Indian economy like Sustainable Growth & Development, Green Growth, Land Reforms, Strengthening Public Sector Institution and Centre State Co-operation. He also compared India with the world on various parameters like Human Development, Purchasing Power Parity, Per Capita Income, Gender Index, Infant Mortality Rate and Life Expectancy. He also put emphasis on various opportunities available in India due to demographic dividend. Present on the occasion were Prof. P.N.
