SMS Varanasi celebrated 67th Republic Day with enthusiasm

School Of Management Sciences celebrated the 67th Republic Day with great zeal and enthusiasm. The ceremony started with conventional flag hoisting followed by the message of Prof P.N Jha, Director, SMS Varanasi. In his inaugural address he expressed his thankfulness towards youth of the country and all the stakeholders of the society for maintaining soverigenity in the country. He discussed about the condition of reseach and development in our country. He expressed his worries about low participation of Indian research in Global research. He has also expressed his concern about slow rate of growth in scientific research in country.

After republic day ceremony another event of cloth distribution took place which was conducted by ‘Rainbow’ Social Welfare club of SMS Varanasi. This activity was undertaken at ‘Assi ghat’ of Varanasi. Activity was a joint effort of faculty members and students of SMS Varanasi. All the faculty members, staff and students of different courses including MBA, PGDM, BBA, BCA, MCA & B.Com were present in the function.
