Annual Conference of Quality Circle Forum of India
3rd VRCCQC-2015, a one day conference on Quality Concept Education Programme was organized in School of Management Sciences, Varanasi on 27th September 2015 in collaboration with Quality Circle Forum of India. Quality Circle Forum of India is an International group of 13 countries continuously work on the improvement of quality in education and industries and organizes workshops through its 26 branches and Varanasi Chapter of same is a prominent one. During his inaugural address, Mr.S.S Kashyap (D.R.M North Eastern Railway) said that implementation of the quality concept in Micro Small and Medium Enterprises will accelerate the industrial growth and will relate to the main theme of Make in India.
While inaugurating Quality Concept Education Workshop, Shri. Radhey Mohan (Director, UP Power Corporation Lucknow) advocated on the important contribution of social groups in the development of society. He further advocated that an overall development strategy is required to bring India on the platform of developed countries and same can be achieved only by the dissemination of quality education in the society. Distinguished Guest Professor P.N Jha (Director, SMS Varanasi) focused on the importance of quality education and stated the contribution of SMS, Varanasi in dissemination of quality concept education in students.
400 representatives of more than 60 teams from BHEL,SAIL,HINDALCO,BAJAAJ GROUP,ADANI GROUP,BIRLA GROUP,JP CEMENT PARLE presented the various quality based model along with the students of SMS,Varanasi. Focusing on various dimensions of management education, Mr. Sanjay Gupta (Registrar, SMS, and Varanasi) said that blending management education with quality and experiential learning will lead India to compete on the international front.
