SMS signs MOU with Szent Istvan University, Hungary
In yet another milestone, School of Management Sciences (SMS) signed a MoU with Hungary based Szent Istvan University here at its campus on Friday through which the faculty and students of SMS group of Institutions would be benefited in terms of Faculty exchange, students exchange and other co-curricular and academic activities.
As per the MoU signed, both institutions will try to conduct lectures, conferences, internships, workshops, joint projects with business and industry in India and Hungary, and various other professional development programmes.
A joint project on SMEs is being explored first under the above arrangement. On the auspicious occasion, Prof. Mahesh Kumar Singh, Coordinator-International Business Affairs, Szent Istvan University, was present at the SMS campus. He launched the corporate film of the SMS Group of Institutions. He urged the student community to keep on embracing the rich Indian culture and ethos and follow values in life, which SMS preaches and follows.
It is worth mentioning that SMS is surging ahead on the Global platform owing to its special inclination for Indian wisdom and values education being imparted to the young professionals in the Management, Computer Applications and Engineering fields in various courses spread across its two campuses in Varanasi and Lucknow.
It is worth mentioning that the Consultancy Cell of SMS is already doing live projects for various corporate houses in India and such an international tie-up would further accentuate the consultancy projects also on the international front, opined Prof. P. N. Jha, Director SMS Varanasi. SMS has already tied up with three more universities around the world earlier, two in the USA (Claflin and California) and one in Brazil (UNESP). The programme was conducted by Dr. Meenakshi Singh while the Vote-of-thanks was presented by Registrar, Mr. Sanjay Gupta. Chairman, Training & Placement, Dr. Sanjay Saxena introduced MS to the Guest who was welcomed by the Executive Secretary, SMS Dr. M. P. Singh and Director Prof. P. N. Jha.
