BCA Orientation 2010
School of Management Sciences, Varanasi greets each of the newly admitted student in Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) with a sense of compassion in its florid, green and serene atmosphere endowed with a building of architectural marvel. The orientation programme of BCA students began with the lightning of lamp at the statue of goddess Saraswati and garlanding of her statue by the Chief Guest Prof. K. P. Singh, Director, I.T., Banaras Hindu University. Prof Satya Singh, Head & Dean Department of Computer Science, Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth had also blessed the students with words of knowledge, on their future transition process through BCA Programme. The director of the institute Prof P. N. Jha greeted the newly admitted students with his blessings and encouraged the students to strive for academic excellence, personal and social values. Prof K. M. Pandey (Professor Emeritus) had also passed on his good wishes to the students on this auspicious event. Director of the institute, Prof P. N. Jha had congratulated the students for their journey of forthcoming three years; Moreover Guest had discussed the corporate expectations from the new generation of Computer graduates. Need of innovative ideas, maintaining the corporate ethics in adverse situations, need of agile and curios attitude, innovation in academic and corporate practices had been the major inputs for students out of orientation session. In this programme students got an interaction with the business tycoons and the world class academicians as well as IT Professionals invited from the top industrial houses and the institutions of repute. On the very first day, the students came to know what the industry expect of them and how to proceed to attain the brilliance through academic rigour and corporate interactions.
