Har ghar Tiranga campaign @ SMS Varanasi
School of Management Sciences, Varanasi organized a campaign of hoisting the National Flag under the aegis of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM) which is an ongoing celebration to commemorate the 75 glorious years of a progressive independent India.
Under this programme flags are being distributed to the nearby villagers for hoisting the National Flag in all households during the Independence Week, i.e. 11th-17th August 2022. Har Ghar Tiranga campaign was carried out on 10th August and 11th August, 2022 to foster a personal connect to the Tricolor among Indians.
Day 1: On 10th August,2022 the students and staff of the institution through Prabhat Pheri endeavoured to spread awareness about the importance of Har Ghar Tiranga programme. The Director of the Institute Prof. P N Jha and Registrar Mr. Sanjay Gupta marked the beginning of the programme by flagging off the Prabhat Pheri. Later during the day the faculty, staff and students of SMS Varanasi visited khushipur and Vandepur village in order to distribute flags, plant sapling of trees & to spread awareness about the Har Ghar Tiranga programme.
Day 2: On 11th August,2022 the faculty, staff and students of SMS Varanasi visited Bhadwar village in order to distribute flags, plant sapling of trees & to spread awareness about the Har Ghar Tiranga programme
More than 100 students along with faculty members and non-teaching staff participated in the campaign with patriotic fervor and enthusiasm making it a grand success.
