Six days Workshop on "Street Play Training" @ SMS Varanasi

Six days "Street Play Training" organized by Department of Mass Communication, SMS Varanasi concluded grandly. In the valedictory session, the plays presented by the students of mass communication enthralled everyone. It is noteworthy that the plays presented on the occasion were written, acted and directed by the students themselves. All of them got the skillful guidance of famous dramatist and theater artist "Natyashree" Motilal Gupta and Vivekananda Brahmachari. In the closing session, three different groups of students, Abhivyakti, Sanskaram and Parivartan enthralled the audience by staging plays like Udaan, Parishram Ka Fal and Samman respectively.In this six-day (30 Hours) course, students learned nuances like Giving Emotional Introduction, Holding Facial Expression, Badal Sircars Object Formation Technique, Gibberish Language, Photo Frame in Play, Voice Projection, Ascending and Descending Voice, Dividing Play Into Parts, Freezing in Play, Usage of Dupatta in Play (How to tie and Make Objects With Dupatta), Scene Transition.Executive Secretary of SMS Varanasi Dr M. P. Singh, Director Prof P. N. Jha, Registrar Mr. Sanjay Gupta, Prof Sandeep Singh, HoD, Department of Mass Communication & Management, Prof Avinash Chandra Supkar, Coordinator, Department of Mass Communication, Dr Pallavi Pathak, Smt Pratima Bhargava, Dr Chandrashekhar Singh, Dr Shikha Aggarwal and Dr Sana Absar were present in the valedictory session. The session was moderated by Dr Ishan Tripathi.
