7-day workshop on "Camera & Editing" for BA(Hons) Mass Comm- II@SMS Varanasi

The Department of Mass Communication, SMS Varanasi is organizing a 7-day workshop on "Camera & Editing" for BA(Hons) Mass Communication- II Semester students. The workshop is being conducted by Dr. Sana Absar, Assistant Professor, Department Mass Communication.

During the workshop, students are being engaged in a variety of exciting activities, including: Camera Techniques: Discovering the art of capturing stunning visuals, mastering composition, and understanding different camera angles. Editing Mastery: Diving into the realm of post-production and learning the intricacies of video editing.

From basic editing techniques to advanced effects, transforming raw footage into captivating visual narratives. Practical Exercises: Putting newly acquired skills to the test through practical exercises and real-world projects.

Collaborative Projects: Embracing teamwork and collaboration work with peers on exciting multimedia projects. Technical Insights: Gaining insights into the technical aspects of cameras and editing software. Understanding the nuances of settings, filters, transitions, and color grading to elevate visuals to the next level.The workshop will be held until June 14th, 2023.
