Ad film making contest Ad-Manthan-4.0.

The Centre for Entrepreneurship, Innovation & Skill Development (CEISD) of School of Management Sciences, Varanasi organized an ad film making contest Ad-Manthan-4.0 on 9th July, 2022. Shri Sanjay Gupta, Registrar – School of Management Sciences, Varanasi, Prof. R.K. Singh, Professor, Dean (R&D) & Chairperson, CEISD, SMS, Varanasi & Programme Coordinator and distinguished guests of the event inaugurated the programme with the lighting of lamp and garlanding the statue of Goddess Saraswati. The esteemed panel of judges comprised of noted dignitaries from academia and corporate such as, Prof. Anurag Dave - Department of Journalism & Mass Communication, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, Prof Sandeep Kumar, Department of Psychology, Faculty of Social Science, BHU, Sri Rajesh Bhatia, National Secretary, Indian Industries Association & President SIA & UPCBMA, Sri Manish Khattry – Photo Journalist, Founder Ishita Adlab and Ishita Foundation.

The primary objective of Ad-Manthan-4.0 was to develop an innovative and creative skill set crucial for commercial and social ad film making amongst the students. A total of 8 teams consisting of various management students from different courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels participated in this contest and exhibited their ad film making capabilities.

The distinguished panel of judges applauded the institute’s endeavours of giving a Launchpad to students to show case their ad film making talent and expressed happiness over students’ diligence and dedication. Prof. R.K. Singh gave the welcome address whereas Mrs. Anjali Kushwaha, Assistant Professor, SMS Varanasi, briefed the rules and regulations. Dr. Bhavana Singh, Assistant Professor, SMS Varanasi, conducted the inaugural session and Dr. Sofia Khan, Assistant Professor, SMS Varanasi, conducted the valedictory session whereas Mr. Vikash Chandra Sharma, Assistant Professor, SMS Varanasi, proposed the vote of thanks.
