SMS Varanasi and Hindustan, Hindi Daily, joined hands to host the prestigious "Yuva Sansad" (Youth Parliament) right here in our campus.
Guided by the expertise of our esteemed Jury Members - Mr. Sachchidanand Singh, Former Additional Municipal Commissioner, Varanasi, Brigadier Dr. Avatar Narayan, Principal, Heritage Institute of Medical Science, Varanasi and Mr. Atish Khadse, Associate Professor, SMS Varanasi - our young parliamentarians, hailing from diverse academic backgrounds including MBA, BBA, BCA, B.Com, B.Com (Hons), and BA (Hons) Mass Communication, took the stage with fervor, debating on crucial issues that shape our society.
From Education to Infrastructure, Health to Aatma-Nirbhar Bharat, Unemployment to Local Issues, every topic was dissected with precision and passion, reflecting the depth of knowledge and the spirit of constructive discourse among our students.
A thunderous round of applause to the brilliant minds who emerged victorious in this battle of ideas during the Parliament Session: Ms. Amisha Pathak (BA(Hons Mass Com-VI Sem), Ms. Ananya Sharma (BA (Hons) Mass Com- VI Sem), Ms. Nandini Singh (BA (Hons) Mass Com- IV Sem), Mr. Harsh Aggarwal (BBA- IV Sem) and Ms. Astha Singh (BBA- IV Sem).
The presence of dignitaries such as Registrar Mr. Sanjay Gupta, Dr. Chandra Shekhar Singh, Mr. Suraj Prakash, Mr. Rohit Singh, Mr. Abhishek Tripathi, Senior Correspondent, Hindustan, Mr. Rahul Yadav, Marketing- Head, Hindustan, and our very own Mr. Vir Pratap added a touch of grandeur to the event, making it truly memorable.
