Vigilance Awareness Week @ SMS Varanasi
As part of Vigilance Awareness Week, SMS Varanasi Synergy: The Literary Club, in collaboration with Punjab National Bank, hosted an insightful Elocution Competition themed “Culture of Integrity for Nation’s Prosperity”. This powerful theme brought together thought-provoking ideas, aiming to inspire students toward ethical leadership and social responsibility.
We were privileged to have distinguished PNB officials Mr. Ajay Kumar Singh, Zonal Head and Mr. Prabhas Chandra Lal, Deputy General Manager (Circle Head) join us. In his welcome remarks, Prof. P.N. Jha, Director of SMS Varanasi, shared, “When integrity forms the backbone of every action, the impact echoes across the nation. He said that at SMS, we aim to instill values that ripple outward, inspiring change on a large scale.
Addressing the students, Mr. Ajay Kumar Singh emphasized that integrity is not just a personal virtue; it is a collective responsibility that builds trust and drives national progress. Mr. Prabhas Chandra Lal added that Vigilance begins with each one of us—our commitment to transparency and accountability shapes our society.
Our esteemed panel of judges, Prof. Avinash Chandra Supkar, Prof. Amitabh Pandey, and Synergy Club Coordinator Dr. Vir Pratap, praised the participants for their impactful speeches and unique perspectives. Their evaluations underscored the importance of cultivating integrity from a young age to build future leaders who are both skilled and principled.
