Two Day National Conference on the topic "Emerging Dimension in Artificial Intelligence and Soft Computing at SMS Varanasi
Day- I
School of Management Sciences, organized two days (19th and 20th) national conference on the topic "Emerging Dimension in Artificial Intelligence and Soft Computing". More than 100 no. of participants from various academic institutions and corporate houses across the country presented their research papers in the conference.
The chief guest of the inaugural session of the conference Prof. Durg Singh Chauhan (Former Vice-Chancellor Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow) shared his experiences about Digital image processing with the participants. He explained the august audience about the importance of Artificial Intelligence and Soft Computing in todays world. He said that technologies produce only average options but the selection of pertinent and feasible options depends upon the discretion of human beings.
He asked the participants to remain updated with the changing patterns and formats of technology. Prof. Chauhan was followed by the deliberation of a guest of honor of the conference, Dr. Rahul Agrawal (Innovation Evangelist, TCS Delhi). Dr. Agrawal explaining different dimensions of artificial intelligence told that in todays technology-dependent society, the role of "Deep Reinforcement Learning" becomes crucial. He further enunciated the relevance of data during the implementation of technology. Dr. Agrawal educated the participants about the huge potential in the field of artificial intelligence. He was explicit about the proper coordination of information technology and social change. Finally, Dr. Agrawal laid stress on the inclusion of ancient knowledge with modern science and technology.
Special guest of the conference Mr. Sunil Kumar Singh, Director Globallogic India in his keynote address explained the basic principles of life" He further stated that the basic concept of life taught in schools helps in understanding technology better. Prior to this, the two-day national conference started with the welcoming of guests by the director of the institution. Prof. P.N. Jha. highlighted the academic achievements of the institute. The Registrar of the institute Mr. Sanjay Gupta felicitated the guests with the memento. The theme of the conference was presented by the convener Mr. Anand Prakash Dube. The inaugural session of the conference was conducted by Dr. Sofia Khan. Note of appreciation was given by Prof. Kamalsheel Mishra.
Day-II
The two days (19th and 20th) National Conference on the topic "Emerging Dimension in Artificial Intelligence and Soft Computing", came to an end. Valedictory ceremony witness two key and eminent person, Mr. Sridhar Srinivas Ex-Vice President Wipro and Dr. Bhaskar Viswas spokes person IIT BHU. Mr. Srinivas elucidated about the importances of consumers in todays market, he said todays customers has become more complex and to understand their buying behavior and pattern, one needs the support of Artificial Intelligence and Soft computing and to make decison accordingly. A satisfied and happy customer gives more business to the company, which not only improves the companies profitability but also improves the standard status of society. Dr. Bhaskar explained the importance of Artificial Intelligence in social networking, hence it can prove to be beneficial to remove “Link Depression” from the youngsters.
The two-day event witnessed more than 100 paper presentations on contemporary issues related to Conference themes. On this occasion, Executive Secretary Dr. M,P. Singh, Registrar Shri Sanjay Gupta, Prof. K. S. Mishra, Shri Shambhu Sharan Srivastava Prof. Sandeep Singh, Prof A.K, Singh, and all other faculty member were also present.
