The stream PCB comprises of PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY, AND BIOLOGY. VETERINARY (B.V.SC) : It is an excellent job for animal lovers as they get to meet new animals. Some animals have a severe illness, and saving them gives them internal happiness. A medical professional who provides animals with medical treatment is known as a vet. There are different types of veterinarians. Some work with small animals and some with large farm animals, or even wild animals. They diagnose animal diseases and treat sick and injured animals. It is advised to owners to take proper care of their pets and livestock. They diagnose, treat, and research medical conditions and diseases of pets, livestock, and other animals. Most of the vets work in a hospital, but some travel to farms for regular check-ups or work in laboratories or classrooms. AYURVEDA (BAMS): Ayurveda is referred to as the "science of life" it has been a part of the ancient Sanskrit and has been a crucial part of Indias natural health care system for over 2000 years. An Ayurveda practitioner uses holistic techniques from India to help patients. This therapy restores the balance between the mind, spirit, and body. The natural therapies are tailored to each individuals needs to eliminate impurities, reduce stress, and fight disease. The Treatment range from diet and lifestyle advice, massages, yoga, and meditation to herbal supplements, counseling, or specialized therapies. Ayurveda practitioners assess diet habits, lifestyle, and mental states of the patient. You need to clear on these entrance exams to get a right college- All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Exam, the Uttarakhand Post Graduate Medical Entrance Examination, Kerala State Entrance Exam, National Institute of Ayurveda Entrance exam, AYUSH Entrance Exam. Eligibility criteria for getting into the right college are to get at least 50% marks in your 12th. Internships are essential to this course. Ayurvedic doctors provide a meaningful service to people; they help them get back to their useful life with their experience in medicine. People may get into groups projects or work as an individual depending on the requirement of the project, their main duty is to lead, manage and administer the hospitals or public health care systems. People can pursue graduation in any medical/ allied medicine field and then go for a Masters in Public Health (MPH) program. The graduation is 3-4 years depending on your choice of subject. Masters is important as it helps build certain key skills, such as writing, researching, and analysis. If you dont want to do a post-graduation, you can always go for a diploma course of 2 years. OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY This course deals with people who need therapy or who need some kind of rehabilitation. You get to meet and work with people of all ages who need to live a happy and productive life. The client may be suffering from a social, emotional, physical or developmental problem or a combination of all, you should be an emphatic person to understand what your client is going through and you must treat them with care. The minimum qualification to start your career is a bachelors degree in occupational therapy (BOT). during your degree years, you will learn about various techniques of recovery, and you will get hands-on experience through various internships and training programs. After the graduation course, you can do a masters in the same with a specialized area of your choice. You can work in a social service department, in a special school, hospitals etc.   PHYSIOTHERAPY Physiotherapist help people with physical illness caused by aging or any problem in their muscle. In order to become a physiotherapist a person may get a bachelors degree (Bachelors in Physiotherapy (BPT), followed by a master (Masters in Physiotherapy (MPT). If you dont want to pursue masters then you can always go for a diploma course. A Physiotherapists may work at different locations from a hospital ward to a private clinic.
