BBA Orientation Programme 2023@ SMS Varanasi
The two-day orientation program for our esteemed BBA course has kickstarted with immense zeal and wisdom. Inaugural session highlights included words of wisdom from Chief Guest, Prof. Anand Kumar Tyagi, Vice Chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth. He emphasized the importance of value-added skills for personal development and urged students to cultivate a sense of priority in life.
Guest of Honor, Prof. H.P. Mathur, Head of the Department and Dean at Institute of Management Studies, BHU, shared invaluable insights, stressing the significance of education benefiting society. He encouraged students to focus on "three Cs": content, confidence, and communication, and advocated for the habit of regular reading.
Another Guest of Honor Mr. Piyush Gupta, Recruitment Manager at Bharti Airtel, Lucknow, shed light on the growing global demand for youth with multidisciplinary knowledge. He applauded students choice of SMS Varanasi and emphasized their pivotal role in building a brighter society.
Director Prof. P.N. Jha extended a warm welcome, underlining the institute proficiency in management education. He highlighted the diverse academic and personality development activities available to students. Prof. Jha emphasized the importance of adapting to rapid global changes in education, management, and technology.
The event featured Preamble of SMS Varanasi introduction by Mr. Kartikeya Singh and Professor Sandeep Singh, providing insights into the BBA course. Session was conducted by Dr. Bhavna Singh and vote of thanks was given by BBA course coordinator Mr. Atish Khadse.
