Voluntary Blood Donation Camp 2024 @ sms vARANASI
Under the noble initiative of Rainbow – A Social Welfare Club, SMS Varanasi, in collaboration with SSPG Divisional District Hospital, Varanasi, successfully organized a Voluntary Blood Donation Camp, marking a significant contribution to society.
Chief Guests and Resource Persons:- Dr. Sanjeev Singh, Medical Officer, SSPG Divisional District Hospital, applauded the event and said that every drop of blood donated here is a drop of hope for someone in need. Initiatives like these show the true spirit of humanity.
- Mr. Vikas Singh, Senior Consultant, Blood Bank, SSPG Divisional District Hospital, encouraged everyone and highlighted that Blood donation is the best way to give back to society. SMS Varanasi has set an inspiring example today.
- Mr. Himanshu Kumar, Senior Manager, HDFC Bank Ltd., emphasized that such collaborations not only save lives but also instill the importance of community welfare among the youth.
The resource persons were warmly welcomed by Mr. Sanjay Gupta, Registrar, and Prof. Kamalsheel Mishra, HoD, Computer Science Department, SMS Varanasi.

Blood donation is a priceless act of kindness. He stated that together, we have not just collected 100 units of blood but also brought hope to 100 families.
The camp achieved an incredible milestone by collecting 100 units of blood, showcasing the commitment and dedication of the SMS family. Participation and Contributions: - Students, faculty, and staff members actively participated in this noble cause, embodying the spirit of compassion and service.
The program was smoothly moderated by Dr. Anju Singh, Assistant Professor, whose efforts ensured the event’s success.
The presence of Mrs. Pratima Bhargava, Mr. Sunit Kumar Mishra, Dr. Shishir Kumar Gujrati, Mr. Suraj Prakash Singh, along with enthusiastic students and faculty members, made the event even more impactful.
