Organisational Effectiveness in Centers of Higher Learning: A Comparative Study by Dr. Pallavi Pathak
Organisational effectiveness is as old a concept as an organisation. It has always measured how successfully organisations achieve their missions through their core strategies. Once one of the most sought-after types of professional education in India, Management education which had enjoyed goodwill and support from government and industry alike, at least when the institutions were worthy of appreciation, is now losing its sheen. As a result, both parents and children are losing interest and have started exploring other options. Thus, an attempt has been made to assess the most potent factors for explaining and improving effectiveness in select public and private management education institutions in Uttar Pradesh, India, and ascertain reasons for the difference, if any. This book provides ways and means for higher educational institutions to understand their potential and importance in diagnosis, strategic planning, and organisational development
